Tiong just finished prelims!
But Shurlene needs to study!
Well i guess that's good right, because that'll make me wanna study too! (:
Jiayou, we can do it!
-------------
Okay, I've decided that I'll begin typing in proper sentences and lettering for my blog.
That's because I've decided that I'm gonna revamp this blog after my A's!
Into something intellectual. And witty.
Well, wittily intellectual. Or more of intellectually witty.
Hahahah.
Exciting times lie ahead man, and as they say - even if it's such a cliche - change IS the only constant in this world.
Especially if you're an 18 year old male in Singapore with the A Levels just 2 months ahead, 2 years of National Service and a road of uncertainty that lies ahead.
Especially if you're, me.
There are kinda lots of things that have to/can be done after my A Levels.
And from experience, we'll no doubt experience a feeling of uncertainty on what to do in the immediate aftermath of major exams.
It's like when you suddenly realise that,
"oh man! what else do i have to do?? what haven't i studied!
i can't play properly with that stupid test bugging me at the back of my head!" (figuratively of course).
(Don't think of a bug chewing on/buzzing around the back of your head.)
Or, the with teacher saying,
"Holidays are not meant for playing. They're just extra study breaks for you to prepare for next year. I've prepared a little bit of homework for you guys so you won't forget to study. Ok i need twenty volunteers now. Follow me down to the photocopying shop to get some stuff to be given out."
And make that Six different teachers doing the same thing.
So this upcoming 'holiday' will be the first true holiday that I've ever had since maybe.... Kindergarten?
OKAY that's all beside the point.
My point was that. Okay sorry i need to scroll up and see.
Oh okay,
basically I've come up with an idea that'll hopefully help me to remember what I wanna do after A Levels! =D
Maybe you guys can do this too!
Things to Do After A Levels:1. Nothing. [HAHA i mean it. Just sit there and do nothing. Okay maybe just for a little while till I get bored.]
2. Go out and play like mad with Shur. [Self-Explanatory. =D]
3. Go out and play like mad with my friends. [SOCCER! LAN!]
3.
Learn to Drive. [My dad's constantly reminding me on this one]
4. Learn a Language or Two. [German? Revise my Chinese! Maybe a dialect like Hokkien haha or Malay for the sake of NS.]
5. Get a Job [?]
6. Get a new small MP3 Player. [To run with, to replace my screwed up Zen Stone Plus that spoilt after a year - conveniently after it's warranty expired. Screw you, Creative.]
7.
Exercise! [All out man.]
To Be Continued..
=D
